Content Profiling

Research surface for the SNOMED CT drug model. Pick a substance to see its modification status, the clinical drugs that reference it, available strengths, and the dose forms in which it's released. Designed for authoring extensions (Argentina, Canada, …) to compare a candidate concept against the International core.

Profile a substance

Tip: try paracetamol, alprazolam, or any other substance descriptor. Results are filtered to semanticTag = "substance".

Clinical drugs by ingredient set

Tip: pick atenolol + hydrochlorothiazide — exact match returns nothing; toggle Allow supersets on the results page to find combination products that include both.

Drug-model class ladder

Paste an RCD / RPCD / CD SCTID to see its inferred tier chain (RCD → CD → MPF → MPOnly → MPContains) and which expected levels are missing.

Logical-model equivalence

Paste a simplified-SCG drug definition + target tag; check whether an equivalent concept already exists (the duplicate-creation blocker).

These endpoints power authoring workflows where you check whether an equivalent or super-class concept already exists in International before introducing it as an extension concept. See a sample profile (Alprazolam).
